Geana Barbosa joins Hootsuite as leader of the LATAM region, bringing extensive sales and leadership expertise to bolster growth across the market
VANCOUVER, BC — November 14, 2022 — Hootsuite recently welcomed a new Head of Region, Geana Barbosa, to support the company’s growth within the LATAM region.
Geana Barbosa joined Hootsuite in August as Head of Region, LATAM, bringing a wealth of global experience in both sales and regional leadership. Based out of Hootsuite’s Mexico City office, Barbosa is excited about the opportunity to build strong teams, create pathways to success for her people, and find innovative solutions to solve the most complex business challenges.

Barbosa hails from Brazil and established her career in the LATAM region with Euromonitor International, leading the Brazilian and Chilean offices and supporting clients in Mexico, Brazil and other Caribbean & LATAM countries. In her most recent role at Asana, Barbosa held the position of Head of Southeast Asia, and she also brings extensive leadership experience from LinkedIn as Head of Key Accounts, APAC, and several years as a regional or country leader. Barbosa is fluent in Spanish, Portuguese and English.
